Job summary

Axon is seeking a Manufacturing Lead at its Phoenix, AZ site. You will be the primary operational leader for multiple manufacturing areas, driving SQDIP performance and leading Area Leads and Operators.

The role focuses on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and people development in a fast-paced environment. You will lead daily execution, enforce safety standards, guide quality investigations, and drive continuous improvement with Lean and Kaizen methods while coordinating with

Qualifications

Lead daily manufacturing execution across assigned areas to meet SQDIP goals.
Promote a safety-first culture by enforcing PPE and 7S standards and audits.
Handle quality escalations, investigations, and audit readiness; ensure SOP conformance.
Drive defect reduction via root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure production plans meet customer demand, throughput, and OEE targets.
Mentor Area Leads and Operators, develop performance and succession plans.

Responsibilities

Lead Lean initiatives to strengthen safety, quality, material flow, and cost performance.
Coordinate staffing, material availability, WIP, and inventory accuracy across shifts.
Support hiring, onboarding, and development of future Manufacturing Leads.
Foster accountability, teamwork, and effective communication across teams.
