Job summary

Forvia is seeking a Plant Program/Launch Team Member to oversee manufacturing programs from project end to six months post-SOP. You will ensure APQP compliance, coordinate tasks, and manage launch budgets as the technical interface with customers and suppliers.

You will lead the plant-level program team, align resources, and ensure capability and training during ramp-up, with adherence to quality and process standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2–5 years coordinating automotive programs.
• English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Implements APQP for new programs per procedures.
• Coordinates program tasks using a schedule of activities.
• Manages the program budget (launch cost).
• Acts as a technical interface with customers and suppliers.
• Interfaces between Program Manufacturing Leader and the plant.
• Leads the plant's program team and allocates resources.
• Reviews operating personnel skills per manufacturing stage.
• Coordinates changes via the engineering change procedure.
