Job summary

Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader, is seeking a Plant Program/Launch Team Member to manage all aspects of manufacturing programs from project end to six months post-SOP. You will implement APQP, coordinate tasks, manage budgets, and serve as the interface between customers, suppliers, and the plant leadership.

The role requires a Bachelors in Engineering and 2–5 years of automotive program coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, mechanical, or engineering.
• 2–5 years coordinating automotive programs.
• Experience with APQP and program launches.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Implements the APQP for managing new programs and ensures procedures are followed.
• Coordinates program tasks using a schedule of activities and tracks milestones.
• Manages the program budget (launch costs) and resources.
• Acts as the technical interface with customers and suppliers.
• Interfaces between Program Manufacturing Leader (PML) and the plant; leads the plant team for launches.
• Reviews operator skills and allocates resources for manufacturing stage.
