Job summary

Quality Quartz Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Product Launch/Program Engineer to own the full launch lifecycle, turning complex new business into production-ready processes.

You will drive APQP, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage suppliers and capital equipment timelines, and serve as the customer interface through PPAP approval and stable production. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in launching new products (auto/aero preferred).
• Proficiency with APQP core tools: PFMEA, control plans, PPAP, FAI/AS9102.
• Familiar with IATF 1649 and AS9100 standards.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings (GD&T).
• Proficient with Fusion CAD and MS Office.
• Experience with ERP/MES; JobBOSS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead program launches from award through production.
• Establish and manage program plans, gate/phase reviews and issue tracking.
• Serve as primary program interface with customer during launch.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain launch documentation and SOPs; report status to leadership.
