Details:

• Pay for this position is $28.00 to $30.00 hourly depending on experience.
• This position is a one-year contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to permanent.
• Location: Irvine, CA
• Shift: 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM (Sunday night through Friday morning)

Requirements:

• Recent Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field (no postgraduate experience required) OR Associate’s degree with 1 year of experience in a clean room/aseptic manufacturing environment OR HSD/GED with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience in a laboratory environment (academic experience acceptable).
• Aseptic technique knowledge is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform functions associated with cGMP manufacturing operations within the biologics production facility, including daily cleaning, stocking supplies, and performing glass wash and autoclave cycles.
• Execute routine cleaning of manufacturing equipment, cleanrooms, and production areas.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and PPE.
• Work comfortably in various environmental conditions, including controlled environments.
• Perform administrative tasks such as creating and reviewing logbooks, checking inventory, and updating SOPs.
