Responsibilities

  • Monitor and resolve day-to-day incidents using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
  • Interact with IT and business users to understand and resolve functional issues.
  • Triage issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely resolution.
  • Follow IT service management processes.
  • Ensure agreed SLA levels are met and maintain quality of delivery.
  • Collaborate with SMEs on functional and technical issues.
  • Coordinate communications between suppliers, OEMs, and internal stakeholders.
  • Track and report progress of issues and development tasks to stakeholders.
  • Develop functionalities as per customer requirements.
  • Share knowledge and assist in knowledge transition.

Job description

We are seeking a Manufacturing IT Support Engineer with strong technical and functional expertise to support our manufacturing IT systems. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in .NET development, SCADA systems, database management, and IT service management. The role requires excellent stakeholder management, problem‑solving skills, and a proactive approach to issue resolution in a manufacturing environment.

Required Technical & Functional Skills
  • Strong .NET development experience (including .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, VB.NET).
  • Experience with SCADA platforms and manufacturing IT systems.
  • Solid knowledge of database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Level Management, and Knowledge Management processes.
  • Proven ability to triage and resolve issues, coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills; ability to provide updates and assist in preparing operational reports.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with SMEs, suppliers, OEMs, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing customers is highly desirable.
