Job summary
The CONMED Corporation in Largo, FL is seeking an IT Business Support Specialist who will provide technical leadership and bridge IT with manufacturing operations. This role focuses on optimizing IT systems that support front-line manufacturing activities and ensuring alignment with IT standards and regulatory requirements.
You will troubleshoot complex issues, lead IT projects, and collaborate with operators, engineers, and factory leaders to deploy scalable IT solutions across MES, SCADA, PLC
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with 5-8 years of related experience.
- Experience in IT Help Desk, desktop support, or IT business partner role.
- Strong knowledge of desktop hardware, networking, and IT systems supporting manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Serve as IT liaison for Largo Manufacturing, supporting releases, upgrades, and deployments affecting operations.
- Document technical solutions and escalate incidents as needed to restore service.
- Interface with business units to understand technical needs and requirements (MES, SCADA, PLCs).
- Develop and maintain complex interfaces between IT systems and equipment.
- Lead or participate in technology pilots and cross-functional IT projects at the Largo site.
