Job summary

CONMED is seeking an IT Business Support Specialist to provide technical leadership and serve as liaison between IT and Largo Operations. The role supports manufacturing systems, deployments, and upgrades, ensuring IT standards and regulatory compliance across operations.

Responsibilities include problem analysis, interface development, and cross-functional collaboration with operators, engineers, and factory leadership to restore service quickly and implement durable IT solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; or Associate’s degree with 5-8 years of related experience.
• With Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of related IT Help Desk and/or desktop support experience; 5+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT liaison for Largo Manufacturing, collaborating with operators, engineers, and factory leadership.
• Develop and maintain complex technical interfaces between IT systems and equipment (MES, SCADA, PLCs).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues.
• Lead IT pilots and deployments aligned with manufacturing needs and IT standards.
