Job summary

The Timken Company is seeking a Level II Developer to design, develop, and support business applications and integrations that enable manufacturing and engineering operations. You will deliver small to medium complexity software solutions while ensuring reliability, security, and performance.

You will work with stakeholders, product owners, and site support teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in C#/.NET development including ASP.NET MVC and/or .NET Core.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL development, database design, indexing, and reporting.
Working knowledge of IIS web hosting and application deployment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy application features and bug fixes using C#/.NET technologies, SQL Server, and IIS-hosted applications.
Own assigned backlog items through the full development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demonstrations.
Document technical decisions, system impacts, and implementation details.
Coordinate deployment activities with change management and release control processes.
Monitor application health and diagnose production issues using logs and metrics.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and environment management.
Mentor Level I developers and promote best practices across teams.
