Job summary

Timken is seeking a Level II Developer to design, develop, and support business applications enabling manufacturing and engineering operations. You will translate business requirements into scalable solutions, ensuring reliability, maintainability, security, and performance across multiple sites.

You will independently manage development work through deployment and production support, contribute to modernization efforts, and participate in DevOps and release activities while elevating

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with two (2) to four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy features using C#/.NET, SQL Server, and IIS.
  • Deliver small to medium complexity enhancements from requirements to production.
  • Ensure acceptance criteria with unit and integration tests.
  • Refactor to improve maintainability, performance, and code quality.
  • Own backlog items through full development lifecycle.
