Job summary

Timken is seeking a Product Manufacturing Engineer to support and enhance manufacturing operations, optimizing production processes and evaluating designs for manufacturability. You will drive cost-effective solutions as a technical liaison between the plant, customers, and industry partners.

You will analyze product designs, lead process development projects, and develop manufacturing documentation within SAP while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial).
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to ensure efficient, high-quality manufacturing of new and existing products.
• Analyze product designs to improve manufacturability, reduce costs, and increase production capacity.
• Lead and support projects involving process development, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including routings, bills of materials, and work instructions within SAP.
• Apply engineering principles to design and validate new product applications and modifications.
• Conduct and document engineering analyses and testing to ensure product performance and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, quality systems, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and meet customer requirements.
• Represent Diamond Drives LLC in customer meetings, providing technical presentations and product expertise.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to support product applications and provide technical guidance.
