Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an IT Field Service Technician to support a large-scale manufacturing environment with a focus on reliability and customer-focused service.

You will deliver end-user computing support, lead hardware deployments, resolve complex issues, and back up the IT Field Service Manager while collaborating with cross-functional IT teams.

Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and experience with Windows/macOS, networking, and AV/print services are required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in IT field services or related roles.
• Experience in manufacturing environments a plus.
• Proven ability to document processes and support users under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for client computing, hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Lead and oversee hardware deployments, setup, configuration, testing to enterprise standards.
• Respond to incidents, document issues, perform preventive maintenance, and train end-users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to enforce policies and processes.
• Act as backup to IT Field Service Manager and drive continuous improvement.
