Job summary

ACTIA Electronics - Romulus, MI is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Engineer to set up and maintain IT hardware and software installations across the manufacturing environment. This role reports to the IT Manager and requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

The ideal candidate will manage networks, servers, databases, security, and user support while ensuring compliance with ACTIA Group standards and safety policies. On-site work is expected with opportunities to train staff.

Qualifications

• IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, wiring, virtualization and end user support
• Systems administration and security
• Microsoft Windows server and desktop environments
• Microsoft Office applications
• Build & maintain Databases
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Computer technologies specialist
• Securing production data in databases
• Backing and retrieving files.
• General knowledge on defending network in case of a cyberattack.
• General knowledge of manufacturing environment

• Build and maintain the IT infrastructure for all areas
