Job summary

Kodak Corp in Rochester, NY seeks an IT Systems Engineer- Manufacturing to support the Film Finishing organization with IT infrastructure, software applications, and manufacturing operations systems onsite at Eastman Business Park.

You will troubleshoot, administer systems, and drive automation projects to improve reliability, security, and efficiency across the plant in a fast-paced environment. Strong programming and Windows/Linux experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in IT/CS/Engineering or related field with 0–5 years of relevant experience
• Strong programming skills with C#, PowerShell, SQL, VB6/VB.NET
• Proven ability to lead, plan, organize, and execute projects
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for manufacturing IT infrastructure and applications
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and system issues
• Assist with deployment, maintenance, and upgrades of servers, workstations, and virtual environments
• Participate in software development, scripting, and automation projects to improve operational efficiency
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles
• Partner with operations, engineering, and business teams to implement technical solutions
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and technology modernization projects
• Lead capital projects from concept through implementation
