Job summary

Senneca is seeking a dynamic intern for a 10-12 week LEAP program in Salt Lake City, UT. You will gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting while developing leadership and Lean-thinking skills. Mentorship and robust training resources are provided to accelerate your growth.

Expect day-to-day field work, special projects, and formal presentations. Immigration sponsorship is not available; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Prior internship experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication to interface with customers and colleagues.
• Willingness to work in a hands-on, industrial environment.
• Previous internship and/or co‑op experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, business acumen and project management abilities.
• Experience or familiarity with Adobe products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn how your area of study applies in a manufacturing environment through training and on-the-job experience.
• Develop and strengthen competencies required for the internship.
• Take ownership to identify trends and propose solutions in your focus area.
• Lead or participate in projects: set objectives, plan, run meetings, and track timelines.
• Perform financial and/or data analysis as required.
• Deliver superior customer service to internal and external partners.
• Interact with leadership, customers, vendors, and staff to solve problems and protect assets.
• Improve communication, influence, and relationship-building with stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends by reading relevant publications.
• Be a self-starter and highly motivated.
