Qualifications

• Exceptional organizational skills in a fast-changing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and desire to work in a hands-on, industrial environment.
• Previous internship and/or co-op experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, and teamwork through activities, work experience or academics.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available; must be legally authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of how your area of study can be applied in a manufacturing environment through training and on-the-job experience.
• Develop and strengthen competencies required for the internship.
• Take ownership to identify trends and recommend solutions within your area of focus.
• Lead and/or participate in projects: define objectives, develop plans, facilitate meetings, manage timelines and deliverables, communicate updates.
• Complete financial and/or data analysis as required.
• Deliver superior customer service (internal or external as required).
• Interact with various levels of leadership, customers, vendors, and employees to solve problems; protect company assets and profitability.
• Enhance ability to communicate, influence and interact with all types of customers and co-workers.
• Develop conflict resolution and relationship management skills.
• Remain current with industry trends by reading publications.
• Be a self-starter and highly motivated.
