Job summary

Senneca is offering a 10-12 week LEAP internship to develop leadership skills in the specialty door industry. You'll gain hands-on experience in engineering, supply chain, operations, or quality within a manufacturing setting.

A mentor will guide you and access to extensive e-learning resources supports personal and professional growth. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to fast changing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and desire to work in a hands-on, industrial environment.
• Prior internship or co-op experience preferred.
• Proven leadership, project management and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of how your area of study applies in a manufacturing setting through training and on-the-job experience.
• Develop competencies required for the internship.
• Lead or participate in projects with defined objectives and timelines.
• Perform financial and/or data analysis as required.
• Deliver superior customer service and problem solve with stakeholders.
• Interact with various levels of leadership and external partners.
