Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. seeks a part-time adjunct instructor to teach CCBC non-credit Workforce Development courses at Catonsville and Dundalk campuses. The role covers machining, QA, GD&T, manufacturing processes, and related trades, including 3D printing and digital design.

Flexibility to teach evenings and weekends is required to support adult learners. Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED, be a subject-matter expert, possess computer skills, and demonstrate strong

  • Able to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Teach CCBC non-credit Workforce Development courses focusing on Machining, QA, GD&T, Manufacturing Processes and Production; or Trade Math, Blueprints and Schematics, Basic Shop Skills, Industrial Mechanical, Industrial Electrical, Electronics, PLCs, and Automation; or 3D Printing, Additive Manufacturing and Digital Design.
  • Deliver instruction in aligned with non-credit format for adult learners.
  • Support CCBC campuses at Catonsville and Dundalk.

This part-time position teaches college level non-credit WorkforceDevelopment courses that focus on 1. Machining (Manual and CNC),Quality Assurance, GD&T, Manufacturing Processes andProduction, and/or 2. Trade Math, Blueprints and Schematics, BasicShop Skills, Industrial Mechanical, Industrial Electrical,Electronics, PLCs, and Automation, and/or 3. 3D Printing, AdditiveManufacturing, and Digital Design.

Campus locations: Catonsville & Dundalk

Salary commensurate with experience.

Minimum Requirements

Adjunct Faculty, PartTime Associates and Full Time employees are eligible to save forretirement using the Roth 403(b) savings feature. Employees maycontribute traditional pre-tax 403(b) dollars and Roth 403(b)post-tax dollars simultaneously. The savings limits are combinedfor the Traditional 403(b) and the Roth 403(b) contributions.
