Job summary

ABB Fort Smith, AR seeks an HRBP to develop and execute people strategy for the US Fort Smith Motor Manufacturing plant, supporting over 1,000 employees. You will provide end-to-end HR support to operations managers and plant staff onsite.

The role covers employee relations, investigations, compliance, lifecycle HR processes, onboarding, leave management, and data integrity in Workday/UKG, partnering with Payroll and Benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years related HR experience.
• Preferred: HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, coaching techniques, investigations, and labor practices.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
• Experience driving organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end HR support for manufacturing site employees, including employee relations, compliance guidance, performance management, and recruitment for hourly roles.
• Lead fair, thorough investigations into workplace concerns with a focus on root-cause resolution and compliance with standards.
• Partner with site leadership to drive people strategies, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness; execute HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Facilitate change management initiatives and maintain strict confidentiality of employee records and Workday data.
