Job summary

ABB Fort Smith plant is seeking an HR Business Partner to provide day-to-day HR support for over 1,000 employees. You will partner with site leaders to drive workforce planning, onboarding, leave management, and change initiatives while ensuring policy compliance and data integrity in Workday.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of HR experience in manufacturing, with strong employee relations and investigative skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 5 years HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, investigations, and labor practices.
• Ability to influence at all levels and drive organizational change.
• Proficient with MS Office; Workday and UKG preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support for Fort Smith, AR operations managers and plant employees.
• Deliver end-to-end HRBP support for hourly and manufacturing staff.
• Lead workplace investigations and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Partner with site leadership to drive workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
• Manage onboarding, leave, and return-to-work processes with Payroll and Benefits.
