Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking an HR Site Manager to partner with manufacturing plant leadership to optimize workforce effectiveness, execute policies and procedures, manage employee relations, recruiting support, training, development, and compliance. The role acts as an employee champion and change agent, collaborating with HR headquarters to deliver holistic solutions.

Travel to other sites and events is occasional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, with 5+ years in employee relations or HR disciplines.
• Experience managing staff; manufacturing environment preferred; aerospace/defense context favored.
• Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement experience.
• SHRM/SPHR certification desired or pursued within one year.

Responsibilities

• Foster inclusive workplace and promote diversity.
• Develop and implement HR and talent strategy with leadership.
• Oversee talent acquisition for managerial, exempt, and professional roles.
• Analyze compensation and benefits trends; propose programs.
• Partner with learning and development to coach on policies.
• Administer accommodations, leaves, investigations, disciplinary actions.
• Manage worker’s compensation claims.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and policies.
• Manage HR metrics and reporting.
• Develop business cases and change roadmaps for leadership.
• Travel to other sites and events; sporadic.
