Job summary

The Employee Connect is hiring an HR Business Partner for its Abilene, TX site to serve as the strategic people leader for a high-volume workforce. This permanent, on-site role partners with plant leadership on talent, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness, guiding supervisors and data-driven people decisions to improve retention and engagement.

As part of a global manufacturer, you will influence culture, oversee recruiting, onboarding, and performance management across hourly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
• Progressive HR generalist or business partner experience in manufacturing.
• Strong employee relations and investigation experience.
• Working knowledge of federal and Texas employment law.
• Excellent coaching, influence, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work onsite and engage employees across all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Advise plant leaders on workforce planning, talent, and organizational effectiveness.
• Lead employee relations investigations and resolve concerns fairly and promptly.
• Drive recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies for hourly and salaried staff.
• Coach supervisors on performance management, discipline, and policy application.
• Analyze turnover, engagement, and staffing data to guide people decisions.
• Support compensation, benefits, and annual talent review processes.
• Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies.
