Job summary

Legrand is seeking a Human Resources Manager for its Integrated AV division in Fairfield, NJ. The role partners with site leaders to build high-performing teams and implement comprehensive HR programs across manufacturing, distribution, and support functions.

The position leads the HR Generalist and drives workforce planning, employee relations, talent acquisition, and engagement while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies. Strong bilingual communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including manufacturing/operational environments.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, both verbal and written, is required.
• Experience leading and coaching HR team members.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR leader for a large operations facility.
• Lead day-to-day execution of all HR programs and activities for the site.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and prioritization for the site HR Generalist.
• Maintain a visible presence in manufacturing, assembly, and distribution operations.
• Partner with leaders on workforce planning, employee relations, talent acquisition, engagement, retention, succession planning, compensation, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Streamline HR processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Deploy employee engagement programs effectively.
• Support compliance by protecting privacy, ethics, and reporting non-compliance.
• Understand workplace hazards and support safety initiatives.
• Demonstrate Legrand values in daily work.
