Job summary

Legrand is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support employees and leaders in executing HR strategies within the Power & Thermal Management Division in Anaheim, CA. The role focuses on onboarding, employee relations, HRIS updates, compliance, and safety while collaborating with site leadership and Corporate HR.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and at least 3 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, with strong communication and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to navigate HR policies, programs, and processes across levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and provide guidance on HR policies, programs, and practices.
• Support onboarding and employee relations, including coaching, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Administer and support leave, benefits, HRIS updates, and data management.
• Assist with performance management, development, and training initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Support health and safety, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work programs.
• Coordinate recruitment of hourly associates and liaise with staffing agencies.
• Provide new hire orientation and assimilation support.
• Maintain visibility on the manufacturing floor to build trust across shifts.
