Job summary

Legrand AV, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join the Power & Thermal Management Division in Canonsburg, PA.

This role provides day-to-day HR support to hourly production employees and front-line leaders in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, serving as the primary contact for HR questions and processes. You will partner with the HR Manager to ensure compliant HR support, assist with onboarding, employee relations, attendance/timekeeping, and policy administration, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Human Resources (or related field).
• 3+ years' experience in a Human Resources role.
• Experience recruiting non-exempt and exempt roles.
• Experience supporting an hourly workforce.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support to hourly production employees and frontline leaders in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Advise managers regarding disciplinary action, policies, and practices.
• Maintain knowledge of HR policies and state/federal labor laws applicable to the area.
• Coordinate onboarding activities, merit process, performance reviews, and benefits enrollment.
• Support recruitment for non-exempt production roles and maintain HRIS data and reports.
