Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical sector America, Power Distribution Controls & Assemblies (PDCA) is seeking a manufacturing site HR Manager at our El Paso, TX site. The role reports to the Plant Manager and guidance from the Division HR Director, and leads HR functions including union relations, staffing, training, compensation, benefits, and community involvement programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in Human Resources with increasing responsibility in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of HRMS/HRIS tools and programs.
• Master’s degree in HR/IR preferred; SPHR/PHR a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares strategies to align HR with business objectives and policies.
• Acts as site lead Business Partner to Plant Manager and staff on HR matters.
• Drives plant culture and employee engagement initiatives.
• Oversees performance appraisal processes and succession planning.
• Manages staffing, recruitment, and internal mobility with internal promotion goals.
• Ensures compliance with local and corporate HR policies and regulations.
• Champions community outreach and diversity programs.
• Ensures HR systems support business objectives and improve engagement.
