Job summary

PEPL seeks an HR Generalist for its manufacturing site in Lavonia, GA. You will manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and training to ensure compliance, safety, and effective people management.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and at least five years in HR management, including training, preferably with manufacturing experience. You will support policy implementation and headcount reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business, or related field.
• Minimum five years in human resources management which includes training.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with HRIS systems.
• Sound judgment with strong organizational, prioritization and follow-through skills.
• Sole HR & Training resource at the plant with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to employees regarding benefits, duties, policies, training, and working conditions, including boot vouchers and reimbursements.
• Coordinate hiring, onboarding, promotions, transfers, terminations and retention for the site.
• Advise management on policy matters and contracts; support disciplinary actions and policy maintenance.
• Lead training plans, safety training, onboarding, and development to ensure compliance and safety culture.
• Maintain HR records, generate reports, and track headcount for management reporting.
• Support employee events and morale initiatives and ensure timely policy communication.
