Job summary

Extension, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a direct-hire opportunity with a manufacturing client in Port Washington, WI.

The role focuses on full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, and building strong relationships with supervisors and managers to improve the employee experience. You will partner with hiring managers to source candidates, conduct interviews, support investigations, and help drive HR initiatives such as safety and engagement programs in a fast-paced production

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong recruiting experience using Indeed/LinkedIn.
• Experience with HR documentation and employee relations.
• ADP experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and sound judgment; coachable and independent.
• Bachelor's or master's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing and skilled trades.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and coordinate interviews.
• Support employee relations, attendance coaching, investigations, and documentation.
• Build relationships with technical schools and other talent pipelines.
• Assist with employee engagement, HR compliance, workplace safety, and workers' compensation.
