Tenneco Inc. is seeking an entry-level Human Resources Generalist I to provide day-to-day HR support in a fast-paced automotive organization. The role covers employee relations, recruiting and onboarding, performance management, training, engagement, HR systems, and compliance.

The position is designed for an HR professional building broad experience while understanding manufacturing operations and the employee lifecycle.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Interest in developing a career in HR within a manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as initial HR point of contact for employees and supervisors regarding policies and programs.
• Partner with HR team to address employee concerns and apply policies consistently.
• Assist leaders with routine employee relations and performance matters.
• Coordinate recruiting and onboarding activities for hourly and salaried positions.
• Support annual performance management, goal-setting, and development processes.
• Help maintain employee records and HR system information.
• Support employee engagement, events, and culture initiatives.
• Ensure HR practices are compliant with company policies and employment requirements.
