Job summary

Genpa is seeking an HR Generalist to provide comprehensive support for payroll, timekeeping, recruiting, onboarding, and HR records in a manufacturing environment in Longview, Texas. The role ensures compliance with policies and regulations while enabling efficient HR processes across leadership and employees.

The position involves managing onboarding, benefits, reporting, and employee engagement activities, with flexibility to support a 24/7 operation and multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; or 3–5 years HR experience.
• Minimum 2 years HR, payroll, recruiting, or administrative experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll processing, and ATS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll administration, timekeeping accuracy, and payroll audits.
• Coordinate recruitment, job postings, interviews, and offer management.
• Manage onboarding and new hire logistics, including I-9 verification.
• Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and HRIS updates.
• Generate workforce reports to aid leadership decisions.
• Support benefits enrollment and enrollment communications.
• Assist in safety and workers' compensation documentation as needed.
