Job summary

PL Developments, a leading OTC pharmaceutical manufacturer, is seeking an HR Generalist in Piedmont, SC. This on-site role supports employee relations, onboarding, FMLA, leaves, benefits, timekeeping, and UKG/Oracle HRIS workflow transactions on a busy manufacturing site.

You will partner with supervisors and management to ensure policy-consistent practices, assist with terminations, training, recruiting, and HR projects, and maintain confidential employee data.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing or multi-shift environments.
• Generalist experience across employee relations, onboarding, HRIS, benefits, and leave administration.
• Strong Excel skills for tracking, reporting, and data review.
• Knowledge of ADA, FMLA, FLSA and related compliance.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support for daily operations, employee relations, onboarding, and training.
• Ensure compliant application of HR procedures and employment practices.
• Assist with terminations, unemployment claims, and exit processes.
• Coordinate onboarding activities, benefits overview, and HRIS training.
• Maintain accurate employee data in UKG and Oracle; support reporting and improvements.
• Support recruiting and temporary staff conversions as needed.
• Contribute to site HR projects and engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
