Job summary

Generac is seeking an HR Generalist for its Sussex, Wisconsin manufacturing facility. The role partners with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to support recruiting, onboarding, orientation, site events, engagement activities, training programs, and an inclusive, high-performing workplace culture.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience), 2 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment, and a PHR certification.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal groups to coordinate HR programs and processes.
• Implement and enforce programs that drive engagement and performance.
• Advise supervisors on employee relations, training and development.
• Administer compensation programs, salary planning, and job evaluations.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition for staffing and employer branding.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and company policies.
• Coordinate and support training initiatives for employees.
