Job summary

EmployBridge in Buford, GA seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead HR operations and EHS initiatives for a growing manufacturing organization. The role focuses on driving HR strategy, ensuring safety, compliance, and employee engagement in a hands-on leadership capacity.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing HR leadership, strong knowledge of employment law and OSHA, and experience with HRIS, performance management, and workforce planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in HR, Business Admin or related field.
• 5+ years of HR leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production settings.
• Experience overseeing or partnering with EHS/workplace safety programs.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with HRIS systems, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, OSHA certification or related credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day HR functions including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and retention initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Manage employee investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and policy administration.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, leave administration, and employee engagement programs.
• Develop and maintain HR metrics, reporting, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Lead Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs and OSHA compliance efforts.
• Conduct safety training, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Promote a strong culture of workplace safety and continuous improvement.
• Support organizational development and succession planning initiatives.
