Job summary

JLL is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor for the 3rd shift at our Orion, MI location. You will lead housekeeping operations in a manufacturing setting, ensuring clean, safe, and efficient facilities.

You’ll report to the Housekeeping Manager and coach a dedicated team to meet safety and production goals. The role requires strong organizational skills, customer-focused service, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and varied hours in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in facility or housekeeping administration.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel spreadsheets and administrative reporting.
• Superior customer service skills and customer-focused orientation.
• Ability to lift/move up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for 10–12 hours in manufacturing environments.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work without direct supervision.
• Overtime, weekend availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations, including end-of-shift reports and daily staffing coordination.
• Conduct routine inspections of service areas to ensure performance measures and safety standards are maintained.
• Develop and implement procedures and performance measures to ensure work simplification and accuracy.
• Manage inventory of consumables and materials, maintaining appropriate stock levels to ensure smooth operations.
• Administer KPIs with your team to ensure adherence to established processes.
• Provide coaching, direction, and performance feedback to housekeeping team members.
• Collaborate with Client Operations team and Housekeeping Manager on administrative functions, security issues, and facility services.
