Job summary

Meijer offers an 11-week Manufacturing Business Development Internship designed to provide hands-on experience across the company’s Supply Chain and Manufacturing organizations. Interns work on projects evaluating growth opportunities, supporting strategic initiatives, and expanding manufacturing capabilities.

Interns analyze market trends, develop financial and operational recommendations, and collaborate with partners across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Finance, and Food Safety.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in the listed fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Analytics experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar tools preferred.
• Drive for results with a focus on the bottom line.
• Customer-focused with strong communication and relationship skills.
• Strong problem-solving and data interpretation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating growth opportunities across Meijer’s Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
• Analyze market trends and identify new product and business opportunities.
• Develop financial and operational recommendations for leadership.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Finance and Food Safety teams.
