Job summary

Meijer is offering an 11-week internship in Grand Rapids focused on Supply Chain Planning and Network Planning. Interns will work on end-to-end supply chain projects, develop dashboards, and gain exposure to multiple functions including inventory planning, network design, and distribution strategies.

Interns will deliver actionable recommendations through data analysis and cross‑functional collaboration, with potential consideration for future full‑time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Progress toward a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, Logistics, Operations Management, or Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Analytics skills - familiarity with analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Drive for results - has focus on the bottom line.
• Customer focus - dedicated to meeting expectations of internal and external customers.
• Relationship Skills - can create positive working relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Communication Skills - conveys the right information in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory planning, supply chain strategy, network optimization, and product flow projects.
• Analyze data to develop recommendations that improve service and total supply chain cost.
• Support cross‑functional initiatives within Supply Chain, Merchandising, Distribution, and Logistics.
