Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a Group Leader in Romulus, MI to lead daily team activities, coordinate workflow, develop employees, and ensure safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets are met. This role links team members with department leadership and supports continuous improvement.

The candidate will train and mentor staff on processes, equipment, safety requirements, and standard work, while collaborating with maintenance, quality, engineering, HR, and other teams to resolve issues

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing/production.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support team members to achieve daily performance goals.
• Assign work, balance resources, and coordinate schedules based on operational needs.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
• Monitor work processes and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Maintain quality and address issues with problem solving and root-cause analysis.
• Track KPIs, communicate results, and elevate concerns when needed.
