Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a Global Supply Chain Group Leader in Rochester, NY. You will lead hourly teams, manage SPQRCE performance, and promote safety and continuous improvement across operations.

The role emphasizes lean manufacturing, cost control, and strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality, and maintenance to meet production goals. Prior leadership and a track record of improvement are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams or groups.
• Hands-on leadership and problem-solving experience preferred for non-degree candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to Team Leaders and Team Members.
• Manage daily operations across SPQRCE metrics.
• Promote safety and ensure PPE and safety procedures are followed.
• Coordinate manpower, attendance, payroll, and related workforce administration.
• Coach and develop Team Leaders; maintain training plans and records.
• Ensure compliance with standard work, policies, and union agreements.
• Support production schedules and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Lead or support meetings and drive cross-functional communication.
• Foster continuous improvement and capture employee suggestions.
