Job summary

SPX Technologies, through its Engineered Air Movement division in Cincinnati, seeks a Financial Analyst to partner with operations and sales to deliver accurate reporting, forecasting, and actionable insights.

You will support cost accounting, margins analysis, budgeting, and investment evaluation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive profitability and financial controls in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and modeling.
• Experience in data mining, querying, and translating large data sets into insights.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for auditors, leaders, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial reports, forecasting, planning, and analysis for the EAM business.
• Maintain monthly close files, P&L, gross margin, and operating expense reporting.
• Provide financial guidance, validation, and decision support in manufacturing operations.
• Analyze margins, costs, and variances; communicate actionable insights.
• Support capital expenditure analyses and ROI evaluations for projects.
