Job summary

Acela Truck Company is seeking a hands-on Controller to oversee accounting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting in Bozeman, MT. You will manage AP/AR/GL, payroll, month-end close, and financial reporting, while partnering with leadership on budgeting and cost control.

The ideal candidate brings manufacturing cost accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and a track record of strengthening internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting or financial management experience preferred.
• Strong experience with general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and closing processes.
• Experience with inventory accounting, job costing, and manufacturing cost accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll coordination, and reconciliations.
• Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end closing processes and financial statements.
• Provide budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to leadership.
• Monitor cash flow, costing, pricing analyses, and internal controls.
