Job summary

Page Executive leads a well-established manufacturing client in New Hampshire seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control initiatives. The role partners with operations to drive profitability and efficiency, while guiding ERP upgrades and internal controls.

A hands-on leader will develop the finance team and provide strategic insights to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Significant manufacturing industry experience
• Strong expertise in job costing, standard costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis
• Ability to work on-site 5 days/ week.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting functions including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, inventory, cost accounting, and treasury.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure accurate US GAAP reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, cash flow analyses, and management reporting.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting in partnership with department leaders.
• Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, job costing, inventory controls, and variance analysis.
• Partner with operations to identify cost savings, improve efficiency, and enhance profitability.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, financing compliance, and lender reporting.
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
• Lead ERP implementation, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
• Develop accounting and finance team members and promote continuous improvement.
• Support executive leadership with strategic analysis, business planning, and special projects.
