Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting and finance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This high-impact leadership role oversees financial operations, drives process improvements, supports ERP initiatives, and partners with executive leadership to ensure financial success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years accounting/finance leadership experience.
• 4+ years direct management experience.
• Strong manufacturing industry experience.
• ERP systems experience and leading ERP transitions.
• ITAR compliance knowledge or exposure.
• Public accounting experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting and finance department, including direct supervision of accounting staff
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
• Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and financial procedures
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning activities
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations
• Support audits and regulatory compliance requirements
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies throughout the finance function
• Lead and support ERP system implementations, upgrades, and transitions
• Ensure accurate reporting and compliance within an ITAR-regulated environment
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and other business units to support company objectives
