Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing with strong cost accounting focus.
• Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams.
• Deep expertise in cost accounting, inventory, and manufacturing finance.
• Strong ERP experience; Made2Manage experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead all general ledger and financial reporting activities across multiple sites.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory/tax requirements.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Drive cost accounting including standard costing, variance analysis.
• Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing performance, margins, and cost drivers.
• Oversee inventory accounting including valuation and cycle counts.
• Ensure BOMs, routings, and labor standards are accurate.
• Lead capital expenditure evaluation including ROI and payback analysis.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Drive KPI reporting to support operational decision-making.
• Oversee fixed assets depreciation.
• Drive ERP optimization and process improvements across sites.
