Job summary

Danone USA is seeking a Finance Analyst for our Dallas, TX beverage manufacturing plant. The role supports plant accounting activities including journal entries, accruals, inventory accounting, payroll analysis, fixed assets, cost center management, and month-end close.

The candidate partners with Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Corporate Finance to deliver actionable financial insights and support strategic planning with variance analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CMA or certification progress is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries while ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Maintain understanding of general ledger concepts including debits, credits, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations.
• Perform monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and support Income Statement reviews and variance analysis.
• Analyze plant cost centers and identify risks/opportunities to meet financial targets.
• Support payroll accounting processes and labor cost analysis.
• Develop and present financial analyses, forecasts, and business cases to plant leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Create and manage purchase orders through Coupa and support procurement-related processes.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility of KPIs.
• Support inventory accuracy initiatives and analyze material consumption, losses, and variances.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and process standardization.
