Job summary

Danone North America is seeking a Financial Analyst for the Fort Worth, TX manufacturing plant. The role focuses on raw material accounting, variance analysis, inventory control, fixed assets, and internal controls to support month-end close.

You will assist the Plant Controller with budgets/forecasts and partner with plant departments to improve financial processes and reporting. This position requires manufacturing cost accounting experience and strong Excel/SAP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field required.
• Candidates without completed degree may be considered with 5–7 years in a manufacturing materials/planning/supply chain role and strong budgeting/analysis skills.
• Minimum 2 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); ERP systems experience (SAP preferred).
• Solid interpersonal, analytical and technical skills; ability to communicate complex accounting information clearly.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in a 24/7 manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Input/verify weekly KPIs and report their accuracy for business impact.
• Track operations productivity projects and financial impact.
• Analyze data, identify variances, benchmark against locations.
• Perform plant cost accounting including month-end close, material loss, and labor variance analysis.
• Assist Plant Controller with budgets and forecasts preparation and analysis.
• Review monthly reconciliations for corporate consolidation submission.
• Communicate with multiple plant departments and support purchase orders.
