Job summary

C.R. Daniels, Inc. – Ellicott City, MD is seeking an Accounting & Finance Manager to lead day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting across the organization. This hands-on role partners with executive leadership to ensure accurate records, strong controls, and timely financial close.

The position oversees manufacturing cost accounting, payroll, tax, and audit coordination within a SAP ERP environment, driving process improvements and standardization.

Qualifications

• Extensive accounting leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely financial statements and management reports
• Manage general ledger, cost accounting, and inventory accounting
• Coordinate with auditors and tax filings
• Oversee payroll accounting and monthly close processes
• Develop and improve financial processes and budgeting cycles
• Provide financial analysis to support operations and strategic decisions
