Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Facility Security Officer on a full-time basis in West Branch, IA. The role operates on 2nd shift, Mon–Fri, with a starting wage of $20.09 per hour.

You will monitor premises, control access, and patrol multiple locations to maintain a safe environment for clients and guests. Responsibilities include de-escalation, reporting safety issues, post order compliance, and front desk duties while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience is a plus.
• Able to work independently.
• Remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance.
• Professional demeanor required.
• Able to respond to emergencies with rapid/appropriate judgment and escalation.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct lengthy foot patrols of the property.
• Execute access control duties and front desk tasks.
• Carry out other site-specific duties as required.

TheManufacturing Facility Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
