2. Basic Plumbing Skills: Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and replace faucets, valves, drains, sump pumps, etc.
3. Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in finding and opening documents in databases or online, managing emails, working in work order systems, and monitoring machine and equipment status on computer systems.

Job Responsibilities

The technician inspects, repairs, and maintains machines, mechanical equipment, and building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural repairs. Tasks include:

• Building partitions, plastering, drywall repairs, roofing, window, door, and floor repairs.
• Maintaining and repairing equipment in cafeterias, laboratories, offices, and factories.
• Troubleshooting and fixing electrical issues, HVAC rooftop units, lighting, and drains.
• Overseeing outside contractors for repairs and upgrades.
• Obtaining supplies and repair parts from distributors or storerooms.
• Using hand and power tools, specialized equipment, and electronic testing devices for repairs and adjustments.
• Performing routine preventive maintenance and record-keeping.

Additional Requirements

Must have good reading comprehension, ability to interpret manuals, and proficiency with computers for communication and work order management.
