About the Role

H 2 O Innovation seeks a Field Service Technician to join our team! This is a permanent, full-time, home-based position with extensive travel primarily within a regional geography, covering the USA and possibly Canada. You will perform maintenance and assembly tasks on water systems and have opportunities to develop new skills. We seek individuals with mechanical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and forward-thinking abilities.

Daily Responsibilities

• Load and change RO/UF and other membranes;
• Perform CIP (Clean in Place) on water systems;
• Install/replace pipes, equipment, instruments, and valves for water filtration;
• Glue PVC pipe and fittings;
• Measure, cut, drill, and tap supports or installations;
• Pull wires, label, and land to devices;
• Ensure product quality;
• Support process improvements;
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment;
• Support all related tasks, including LOTO procedures and filling out field reports;
• Lift 50-75 pounds;
• Travel to customer sites and company locations as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience;
• Ability to read technical plans;
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time;
• Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously;
• Organized, rigorous, meticulous;
• Excellent team player with a positive and professional attitude;
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently;
• Preferred location: Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, Southern Michigan, Indiana.
