Job summary

Apogee Architectural Metals is seeking an Operational Excellence, Engineering, & Maintenance Manager to lead the deployment of the Apogee Management System across manufacturing sites, driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost through disciplined problem solving and standard work.

You will oversee maintenance, plant engineering, and continuous improvement engineers, coach teams, and ensure equipment uptime, KPI attainment, and capital project execution; collaborate with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years in manufacturing or industrial environment with measurable impact.
• Proven experience deploying and sustaining continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and experience leading Kaizen events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance supervisor, plant engineering, and OEE engineers.
• Coach supervisors and operators in continuous improvement behaviors, standard work, and problem solving.
• Lead deployment of the Apogee Management System (AMS) and drive safety, quality, throughput, and cost improvements.
• Manage facilities, maintenance, and capital projects from planning to completion.
• Monitor metrics and report results of improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with EHS policies.
